The need for sustainability reporting solutions has risen dramatically in recent years due to evolving regulatory reporting requirements and social trends. Metrio leveraged its early mover advantage and significant domain expertise to establish its market leading position in ESG reporting. We believe that this acquisition creates many opportunities for Nasdaq Corporate Solutions to integrate Metrio's platform into our existing, comprehensive and end-to-end suite of solutions that includes advisory services (Nasdaq ESG Advisory), a carbon marketplace (Puro.earth) and data management and reporting software (Nasdaq One Report).
Metrio provides operational and financial value for clients through its flexible and scalable end-to-end platform that generates investor grade reporting. Metrio enables clients to collect quantitative/qualitative data, measure through customized KPIs and generate investor grade reports that can adapted and shared with multiple stakeholders. Metrio flexible ESG reporting platform allows users to increase automation across all steps, simplify the reporting process and provide a visually appealing format to communicate information.
Our position at the intersection of financial, technology and regulatory communities gives us a unique perspective on corporate sustainability. We believe that Metrio will complement Nasdaq’s suite of sustainability reporting solutions that provide technology and expertise to help companies evaluate performance and generate reports. The combined capabilities will accelerate Nasdaq’s ability to address clients’ needs with improved end-to-end ESG data collection, analytics and reporting capabilities- and which now allows for the integration and calculation of non-financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), required for external or internal reporting purposes.
