To celebrate its 10th anniversary, Nasdaq Vilnius partnered with Junior Achievement Lithuania to invest in the next generation. The program focused on empowering youth through education, mentorship, and hands-on skill-building—preparing them for future opportunities in finance, technology, and leadership.

To mark a decade in Vilnius, Nasdaq launched “10 Purposeful Weeks” as a way to give back to the community that has supported our growth. This initiative goes beyond traditional volunteering—it’s about sparking new possibilities, empowering local talent, and creating pathways for the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers.

Nasdaq employees visited schools across the greater Vilnius area to share their personal career journeys—the challenges they overcame, pivotal moments that shaped their success, and why they chose Nasdaq. These conversations empowered students to dream ambitiously and envision themselves in global careers. Following these sessions, students stepped into the Nasdaq workplace for job shadowing experiences, observing professionals in roles they aspire to and learning what skills and education open doors to those opportunities.

The initiative sparked remarkable engagement: 50 Nasdaq employees volunteered their time to mentor more than 1,300 students, offering a deeper understanding of Nasdaq and the global financial system. Through career talks and job shadowing, students gained practical insights into the skills, education, and opportunities that shape international careers.
