In early trading on Wednesday, shares of GE Vernova topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 12.3%. Year to date, GE Vernova registers a 70.3% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is TE Connectivity, trading down 8.2%. TE Connectivity is lower by about 1.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are NVR, trading down 5.4%, and Masco, trading up 10.0% on the day.
