In early trading on Thursday, shares of United Rentals topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 11.6%. Year to date, United Rentals registers a 42.7% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Rollins, trading down 12.7%. Rollins, is lower by about 36.8% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Tesla, trading down 10.3%, and Quest Diagnostics, trading up 11.1% on the day.
