S&P 500 Movers: NOW, URI

In early trading on Thursday, shares of United Rentals topped the list of the day\'s best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 17.8%. Year to date, United Rentals registers a 16.8% gain.

And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is ServiceNow, trading down 14.6%. ServiceNow is lower by about 42.5% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold, trading down 11.3%, and Texas Instruments, trading up 15.4% on the day.
