In early trading on Monday, shares of Alexandria Real Estate Equities topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 2.5%. Year to date, Alexandria Real Estate Equities has lost about 49.0% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Newmont, trading down 4.7%. Newmont is showing a gain of 170.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Albemarle, trading down 4.0%, and Arista Networks, trading up 2.1% on the day.
