In early trading on Monday, shares of Advanced Micro Devices topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 33.2%. Year to date, Advanced Micro Devices registers a 81.6% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is International Paper, trading down 4.3%. International Paper is lower by about 16.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Starbucks, trading down 2.7%, and Super Micro Computer, trading up 6.9% on the day.
