In early trading on Monday, shares of Intel topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 9.4%. Year to date, Intel registers a 194.0% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Ciena, trading down 5.1%. Ciena is showing a gain of 98.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are GoDaddy, trading down 3.9%, and Micron Technology, trading up 8.6% on the day.
