In early trading on Wednesday, shares of MGM Resorts International topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 7.4%. Year to date, MGM Resorts International registers a 13.2% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Boston Scientific, trading down 9.6%. Boston Scientific is lower by about 45.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Insulet, trading down 7.2%, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, trading up 6.8% on the day.
