Paramount (PARAA) Pictures (PARA) is getting read to release the film “Sonic the Hedgehog 4” in spring 2027, with the third film in the franchise about releasing this week, Variety’s Brent Lang reports. “Sonic the Hedgehog 3” is anticipated to have a domestic gross in its debut weekend of $55M-$60M from 3,800 North American theaters, the author says, noting that the first two “Sonic” live-action films have combined for a global box office total of $725.2M. The film series is based on Sega’s (SGAMY) “Sonic” video game franchise.
