Google Calendar Adds New ‘Goals’ Feature

Google Calendar (NASDAQ: GOOG ,NASDAQ: GOOGL ) is adding a 'Goals' feature to its services.

The app is already one of the most convenient services on the Internet to schedule and follow through with your events. Now, there's a little extra incentive to complete these tasks.

The tech giant hopes that Goals will affect the behavior of Google Calendar users in a positive and motivational manner, helping users balance their short-term and long-term goals.

Unscheduled hours can now be used to add goals in your life that you can complete whenever you have some free time.

GOOG stock is up 1.1% Wednesday. GOOGL stock is up 1%.
