Dow Movers: AAPL, CAT

In early trading on Thursday, shares of Caterpillar topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 4.5%. Year to date, Caterpillar registers a 81.5% gain.

And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Apple, trading down 4.4%. Apple is showing a gain of 3.0% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Amazon.com, trading down 2.8%, and Honeywell International, trading up 2.7% on the day.
