Barclays (GB:BARC) has released an update.
Barclays PLC has recently completed a share buy-back, purchasing 4,626,000 of its own shares to cancel, which will reduce the total issued share capital to 14,887,554,293 ordinary shares. These transactions were part of a larger buy-back program announced in February 2024, where Barclays PLC has acquired over 325 million shares at an average price of 192.2201p. This buy-back activity reflects the company’s ongoing strategy to manage share capital and provide value to shareholders.
