Just for Funds: Simplify Asset Management

Gabrielle Vennitti, Senior Manager, ETF Product at Nasdaq, met with Paisley Nardini, Managing Director, Head of Multi Asset Solutions at Simplify, to discuss their new launches, SPBC and MAXI. The Simplify U.S. Equity PLUS Bitcoin Strategy ETF (SPBC) combines a 100% allocation to US equities with a 10% allocation to Bitcoin. It provides exposure to both asset classes through a combination of equity futures, equity ETFs, and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). The Simplify Bitcoin Strategy PLUS Income ETF (MAXI) seeks both income and capital appreciation by investing in Bitcoin futures and using an options strategy to generate income. It aims to provide exposure to Bitcoin without direct ownership, with a Bitcoin exposure level that can vary between 50% and 200% of net assets.
