Our mission at Potbelly is really quite simple. It's to delight our customers with great food and good vibes, and that good vibes is that service experience that you feel when you come into our shop, or even through our digital shop.
In the last three years, we've pivoted to franchise unit development, and we're very excited about what that means for the brand. We have 430 locations that are spread across the U.S. in 32 states.
When you make a sandwich fresh for someone. You take the time to toast it properly. You take the time to add the ingredients that they want and customize it the way they want.
And you can replicate that online, so it’s reminiscent of the experience they have in the shop, you begin to differentiate yourself.
