In this episode of Behind the Bell, Motorcar Parts of America Chairman, President & CEO Selwyn Joffe joined us at Nasdaq to celebrate the company’s IPO anniversary. Since listing 30 years ago, the company, a remanufacturer, manufacturer, and distributor of non-discretionary automotive aftermarket parts, has grown over 3,000%.

Make sure you have very coherent plans, because the whole world then becomes your audience in terms of how you’re able to communicate it.

Well, going public was obviously great on Nasdaq, so we've been able to achieve quite a lot of things as a result of that.

We've grown over about 3,000% since we've gone public in the last 30 years. Well, it's really exciting.

I mean, to be on Nasdaq, it’s the markets of the world, I mean, it's incredible honor and privilege to be here.

The last time I was here was when we went public, which is about 30 years ago.

So, very exciting to be back. It gives us a stage to talk about what we were able to accomplish, both historically and for the future.

And not only can you get capital, but it's also a vehicle to give back capital. Just a real privilege, and, you know, one of the great exchange markets in the world.
