Troy Kane is currently the Head of Global Derivatives and FICC Development at Citadel Securities where he is responsible for managing the firm’s global trading partnerships and market structure advocacy across futures, options, and FICC products while identifying opportunities to grow in new products, asset classes and/or geographies.

Troy began his career working on the trading floors of the Chicago Board of Trade at the age of 14 and has over 25 years of experience in the commodity and financial derivatives industry. Prior to joining Citadel Securities, Troy was Head of Strategy for Financial and OTC Products at CME Group and was the Chief Operating Officer of Eagle Seven; a privately held, globally positioned algorithmic trading firm.

Troy represents Citadel Securities on the Board of Directors of BOX Holdings Group LLC, BOX Options Market LLC, and BOX Digital Markets LLC. Troy is also a member of the SIFMA Listed Options Trading Committee and OCC Financial Risk Advisory Council.

Troy holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from DePaul University and an MBA from Roosevelt University.
