Thomas Fekete joined BlackRock in 2013 and led the Global Product team for iShares and the Product, Solutions and Strategy business for the EMEA Retail market.

Before joining Blackrock, Mr. Fekete spent ten years as Head of Investment Products in private banking at Barclays Wealth and UBS Wealth Management. He started his career in finance in 2001 at Morgan Stanley designing and distributing derivatives-based risk management solutions.

During the first ten years of his career, Mr. Fekete worked in the European telecommunications and aerospace industry where he held a variety of research and development, management and strategy roles at Airbus.

Mr. Fekete graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Masters in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace, Toulouse, France.
