About This Event
FDNY and FDNY Foundation visits the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square in honor of the 2025 FDNY Foundation Dinner on September 4.
As first responders to fires, public safety and medical emergencies, disasters and terrorist acts, FDNY protects the lives and property of New York City residents and visitors. The FDNY strives to keep citizens reasonably free from danger, especially deliberate, harmful acts. With the best equipment and training, the Department can reduce the risk to the public and its members at fires, emergencies and medical incidents.
The FDNY Foundation, established in 1981 is the official non-profit of the New York City Fire Department (FDNY). Our mission is to promote fire and life safety education and help the FDNY better protect New York. The FDNY Foundation funds programs that advance the FDNY’s goals, which include maintaining operational excellence, reaching out to the community with an array of fire and life safety programs, and ensuring that our firefighters and EMS personnel have the best available training and equipment.
In honor of the occasion, FDNY Commissioner Robert Tucker, rings the Closing Bell.
