Rufus Rankin recently joined Nasdaq Investment Intelligence as Director and Head of Empirical Index Research.

Prior to joining Nasdaq, Rufus was a co-founder and Managing Director of Research at Ampersand Investment Management, where he advised on the construction and management of multi-asset and derivative portfolios for institutional clients.  Previously Rufus was part of the senior management team at Equinox Funds, a pioneer in the liquid alternatives space.

Rufus earned a research doctorate in finance from Grenoble Ecole de Management and is an adjunct faculty member in the finance department at Drexel University.
