In trading on Wednesday, general contractors & builders shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.9%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Champion Homes, off about 6.4% and shares of Hovnanian Enterprises down about 5.2% on the day.
Also lagging the market Wednesday are construction materials & machinery shares, down on the day by about 1.8% as a group, led down by Eagle Materials, trading lower by about 4.5% and Jeld-wen Holding, trading lower by about 4.5%.
