In trading on Tuesday, oil & gas exploration & production shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Crescent Energy, down about 6% and shares of Patterson-UTI Energy off about 5.9% on the day.

Also lagging the market Tuesday are oil & gas equipment & services shares, down on the day by about 2.4% as a group, led down by NextNRG, trading lower by about 10.2% and New Fortress Energy, trading lower by about 8%.
