Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Companhia Energtica de Minas Gerais ( CIG ), up about 5.9% and shares of Petroleo Brasileiro ( PBR.A ), up about 5.9% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Junior Gold Miners ETF ( GDXJ ), down about 1.5% in Thursday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Thursday were shares of Torex Gold Resources (TXG.CA), lower by about 4.4%, and shares of Lake Shore Gold (LSG.CA), lower by about 4.2% on the day.
