In trading on Thursday, general contractors & builders shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 2.7%. Leading the group were shares of M.D.C. Holdings, up about 18.1% and shares of Beazer Homes USA up about 3.9% on the day.

Also showing relative strength are semiconductors shares, up on the day by about 2.3% as a group, led by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing, trading up by about 7.9% and NVEC, trading higher by about 7.5% on Thursday.
