In trading on Thursday, general contractors & builders shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.3%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Hovnanian Enterprises, down about 3.7% and shares of Lennar down about 2.9% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are precious metals shares, down on the day by about 0.6% as a group, led down by Platinum Group Metals, trading lower by about 5.2% and I-80 Gold, trading lower by about 2.9%.
