Thursday Sector Laggards: General Contractors & Builders, Apparel Stores

In trading on Thursday, general contractors & builders shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.7%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Hovnanian Enterprises, off about 15.7% and shares of Smith Douglas Homes down about 4.9% on the day.

Also lagging the market Thursday are apparel stores shares, down on the day by about 2.2% as a group, led down by Genesco, trading lower by about 29.1% and Torrid Holdings, trading lower by about 13.5%.
