Thursday 6/6 Insider Buying Report: ECOR, ALTI

Bargain hunters are wise to pay careful attention to insider buying, because although there are many various reasons for an insider to sell a stock, presumably the only reason they would use their hard-earned dollars to make a purchase, is that they expect to make money. Today we look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

At ElectroCore, a filing with the SEC revealed that on Wednesday, Chief Executive Officer Daniel S. Goldberger purchased 38,505 shares of ECOR, for a cost of $6.43 each, for a total investment of $247,587. So far Goldberger is in the green, up about 4.4% on their purchase based on today's trading high of $6.71. ElectroCore is trading up about 0.3% on the day Thursday. Before this latest buy, Goldberger bought ECOR at 2 other times during the past twelve months, for a total cost of $230,143 at an average of $4.38 per share.

And on Monday, Chief Executive Officer Michael Tiedemann bought $230,460 worth of AlTi Global, buying 47,373 shares at a cost of $4.86 a piece. Before this latest buy, Tiedemann bought ALTI on 2 other occasions during the past twelve months, for a total cost of $742,407 at an average of $4.54 per share. AlTi Global is trading off about 0.8% on the day Thursday.
