Thursday 3/14 Insider Buying Report: TPL, ASLE

As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy -- they expect to make money. So let's look at two noteworthy recent insider buys.

On Wednesday, Texas Pacific Land's Director, Eric L. Oliver, made a $473,049 purchase of TPL, buying 300 shares at a cost of $1576.83 a piece. So far Oliver is in the green, up about 3.4% on their buy based on today's trading high of $1630.54. Texas Pacific Land is trading up about 1% on the day Thursday. Before this latest buy, Oliver made one other buy in the past year, purchasing $459,482 shares for a cost of $1531.61 a piece.

And at AerSale, there was insider buying on Wednesday, by See Remarks Nicolas Finazzo who bought 35,800 shares for a cost of $6.88 each, for a trade totaling $246,220. Before this latest buy, Finazzo purchased ASLE on 2 other occasions during the past year, for a total cost of $2.18M at an average of $11.95 per share. AerSale is trading up about 6.3% on the day Thursday. Finazzo was up about 7.9% on the purchase at the high point of today's trading session, with ASLE trading as high as $7.42 at last check today.
