Tesco plc (GB:TSCO) has released an update.
Tesco PLC has announced the purchase and cancellation of 3,975,000 of its own shares as part of its existing £1,000 million share buyback program, with shares acquired at an average price of 310.90 pence each. Following the buyback, the total number of Tesco’s shares in issue is now 6,983,550,730. The transaction was executed on May 31, 2024, through Citigroup Global Markets Limited.
