Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the PowerShares S&P 500 Low Volatility Portfolio ( SPLV ), where 17,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 11.4% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPLV, in morning trading today Plum Creek Timber Company ( PCL ) is up about 1%, and XL Group ( XL ) is up by about 1.5%.
And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Daily S&P 500 Bull 2x Shares ( SPUU ), which lost 149,764 of its units, representing a 34.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.
