In early trading on Monday, shares of Symantec topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.1%. Year to date, Symantec registers a 37.7% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is F5 Networks, trading down 4.7%. F5 Networks, is lower by about 13.2% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are NetApp, trading down 4.0%, and Devon Energy, trading up 1.8% on the day.
