In early trading on Thursday, shares of Enphase Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 4.1%. Year to date, Enphase Energy registers a 4.1% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Tesla, trading down 5.2%. Tesla is lower by about 5.1% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Palantir Technologies, trading down 3.7%, and Newmont, trading up 3.3% on the day.
