In early trading on Tuesday, shares of UnitedHealth Group topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 9.1%. Year to date, UnitedHealth Group registers a 6.9% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Tractor Supply, trading down 9.5%. Tractor Supply is lower by about 18.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Prudential Financial, trading down 4.2%, and Horton, trading up 7.1% on the day.
