In early trading on Thursday, shares of Walt Disney topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 10.4%. Year to date, Walt Disney registers a 25.6% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Super Micro Computer, trading down 11.2%. Super Micro Computer is lower by about 36.5% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Humana, trading down 2.5%, and Tapestry, trading up 9.1% on the day.
