S&P 500 Movers: EL, PLTR

In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Palantir Technologies topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 24.7%. Year to date, Palantir Technologies registers a 38.1% gain.

And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Estee Lauder, trading down 12.7%. Estee Lauder is lower by about 3.6% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Merck, trading down 11.6%, and Xylem, trading up 6.2% on the day.
