In early trading on Friday, shares of Intuit topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 9.6%. Year to date, Intuit registers a 16.1% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Deckers Outdoor, trading down 22.2%. Deckers Outdoor is lower by about 51.7% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Ross Stores, trading down 13.3%, and Seagate Technology Holdings, trading up 2.1% on the day.
