S&P 500 Movers: ARE, KO

In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Coca-Cola topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 5.4%. Year to date, Coca-Cola registers a 13.7% gain.

And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Alexandria Real Estate Equities, trading down 9.6%. Alexandria Real Estate Equities is lower by about 15.8% looking at the year to date performance.

Two other components making moves today are Pentair, trading down 7.0%, and Nucor, trading up 3.6% on the day.
