In early trading on Friday, shares of Warner Bros Discovery topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 2.5%. Year to date, Warner Bros Discovery registers a 114.8% gain.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Applied Materials, trading down 4.3%. Applied Materials is showing a gain of 31.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are First Solar, trading down 4.1%, and Workday, trading up 2.4% on the day.
