Credit: Shutterstock photoPPG Industries Inc. 's PPG Liquid Nails brand has unveiled the Fuze*It All Surface Construction Adhesive (LN-2000). Fuze*It adhesive is created with a proprietary hybrid-polymer blend for best-in-class adhesion. It has two times the strength of fasteners alone and bonds almost all materials in any weather condition, including temperatures in the range of -40 F to 300 F, and on dry, frozen or wet surfaces.
Liquid Nails Fuze*It also has an instant-grab technology and provides considerably faster strength development than its competitors. This enables quicker job completion and less opportunity for parts to move or shift, thus creating a better and more reliable bond. The product is easily applicable and resistant to heat. It does not foam in high temperatures or high humidity, which usually leads to weak spots. It also has a plastic cartridge that leaves the packaging undamaged when left in the rain or snow, even overnight.
The Fuze*It All Surface product is a plasticizer-free formula, which unlike other products does not turn brittle and will not dry out over time. It also has a low-volatile organic compound formulation and is Greenguard certified to help contractors attain points under current green building programs.
The Fuze*It construction adhesive can adhere metal to metal or most plastics to most plastics with an instant hold, fast cure and a long-lasting bond. This will solve common job-site challenges in determining what adhesive to use with different materials.
The Liquid Nails Fuze*It adhesive is available exclusively at The Home Depot stores starting Mar 2016.
