Planet Based Foods Global Inc., a producer of hemp-based food alternatives, has issued a bi-weekly update reporting a delay in its annual financial filings due to a Management Cease Trade Order (MCTO) issued by the British Columbia Securities Commission. The MCTO, which only restricts trading by the company’s executives, is in response to the company missing the deadline for its 2023 financial statements and associated documents, now expected by June 28, 2024. The company pledges to continue regular updates until the filings are completed.
