Petroleo Brasileiro SA- Petrobras (PBR) has released an update.
Petrobras has released its 2023 Sustainability Report highlighting significant advancements in sustainability commitments, ESG performance, and a 41% reduction in operational greenhouse gas emissions since 2015. The company also emphasizes its aim to neutralize emissions by 2050, while reporting a 24% reduction in freshwater withdrawal and detailing social and environmental investments totaling over R$800 million. Key social initiatives include programs against sexual violence and for racial equity, targeting increased diversity in leadership by 2030.
