Notable option trades in equities

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

CurrencyShares Japanese Yen (FXY): An investor sold 5,500 January 2016 85 puts for $4.45 and bought 13,000 June 80 puts for $1.05, apparently rolling a downside position closer in time and down in price. It will profit from accelerated downside in the yen. FXY rose 0.20 percent to $84.71.

Cell Therapeutics (CTIC): A block of 10,000 December 2 puts was sold for $0.14 as investors look for the developer of cancer drugs to hold its ground. CTIC is fell 13 percent to $2.05.

Nokia (NOK): More than 5,000 Weekly 8 calls expiring Nov. 14 were purchased for $0.17 and $0.18 as investors look for a quick rally in the Finnish technology stock. NOK fell 1.91 percent to $7.98.
