
Notable option activity in equity names
Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Mastec (MTZ): Some 5,000 March 19 calls sold were sold $0.50 to $0.60 as traders bet upside will limited in the construction and engineering firm. MTZ rose 2.54 percent to $18.97.
iShares MSCI Japan fund (EWJ): Almost 59,000 April 12 calls bought for $0.09 as investors looked for continued upside in the Asian country's equity market. EWJ fell 0.95 percent to $11.41. (See full post on InsideOptions Pro)
NorthStar Realty (NRF): A block of 7,000 April 14 calls were sold for $0.48 but volume was below open interest at the strike. NRF rose 2.16 percent to $13.22.
