SPDR Technology Fund (XLK): Traders sold 3,100 February 40 calls for $0.53 to $0.62. Volume was below open interest, which suggests they exited bullish positions before expiration today. XLK rose 0.05 percent to $40.65.
Crown Castle (CCI): An investor sold 2,000 February 80 calls $5.30 and bought an equal number of March 87.50s $0.85. Volume was below open interest in the contracts expiring today, which suggests an existing position was rolled forward in time and higher in strike. CCI fell 1.06 percent to $85.11.
Noble Energy (NBL): Some 6,000 August 22.50 puts were sold for $1.50 to $1.60. Volume was below open interest, which indicates a downside position was unwound following a long-term decline in the oil and gas producer. NBL fell 0.27 percent to $29.10.
