Notable option activity in equity names

Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.

iShares MSCI Brazil Fund (EWZ): A block of 25,000 June 20 calls was sold for $1.75 as investors bet upside will be limited in the emerging-market country. EWZ rose 0.26 percent to $19.39.

Novartis (NVS): Almost 2,300 February 72.50 calls were sold for $1 against as traders looked to earn income on the European pharmaceutical giant. NVS rose 1.02 percent to $73.44.

Zoetis (ZTS): About 3,000 February 40 puts were bought for $0.20 to $0.35 as traders braced against a pullback in the maker of veterinary medicines. ZTS fell 1.16 percent to $39.96.
