Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Encana (ECA): Traders sold more than 8,000 March 5 calls for $0.35 to $0.30, looking to earn income from the Canadian energy stock. ECA rose 2.87 percent to $4.49.
Agilent Technology (A): Some 4,970 March 37.50 calls were sold, mostly for $1.38, but volume was below open interest at the strike. A is down 3.02 percent to $36.29.
Santander Consumer (SC): About 5,000 March 10 calls were bought for $0.90 as traders positioned for a rally in the auto-financing stock. SC fell 1.65 percent to $10.13. (See full post on InsideOptions Pro)
