Nearing the halfway mark in today's session, here are the individual equity names with unusual option activity on optionMONSTER's ActionTracker data system.
Williams (WMB): Traders bought 15,000 February 35 calls, looking for the pipeline stock to rally. WMB rose 3.71 percent to $25.32.
CA (CA): About 6,000 contracts traded each in the January 28 calls for $1.05 to $1.10 and the February 29s for $0.90 to $1. Volume was below open interest in the nearer-dated strike, which suggests an existing long position was rolled forward in time. CA fell 0.93 percent to $28.84.
CenterPoint Energy (CNP): About 10,000 February 18 calls were bought for $0.85 to 0.95 as investors looked for upside in the stock. CNP was unchanged at $18.30.
