E*Trade Financial (ETFC): About 9,000 January 30 calls were bought for $1.08 to $1.22 as investors looked for upside in the retail brokerage. ETFC rose 3.41 percent to $30.
Lowe's (LOW): Traders sold 24,000 April 85 calls sold for $0.86 to $0.89, betting upside will be limited in the name. LOW fell 0.37 percent to $75.37.
Paychex (PAYX): Some 6,600 January 55 calls were sold for $0.50 to $0.55 as investors looked to earn income on the stock. PAYX rose 0.53 percent to $53.06.
