In early trading on Friday, shares of Meta Platforms topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 17.4%. Year to date, Meta Platforms registers a 31.0% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Atlassian, trading down 15.4%. Atlassian is lower by about 9.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Charter Communications, trading down 11.8%, and Amazon.com, trading up 7.3% on the day.
