In early trading on Thursday, shares of Meta Platforms topped the list of the day's best performing components of the Nasdaq 100 index, trading up 7.7%. Year to date, Meta Platforms registers a 9.1% gain.
And the worst performing Nasdaq 100 component thus far on the day is Atlassian, trading down 13.3%. Atlassian is lower by about 28.0% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Microsoft, trading down 10.1%, and Diamondback Energy, trading up 4.8% on the day.
